Tara's Doggy Friends!:)

Name: Blizzard (Blizzy for short)
Owner: Lisa Ireland.
Age: 1 year old.
Bread: Bichon frise.
Facts:  he chews slippers, he can stand on his hind legs for over 20 seconds, he loves Lisa's cat flory and he has a bad throat.


Name: Meg

Owner: My auntie Jane!:)

Age: 10 (or 11).

Bread: Collie.

Facts: She sleeps in the kitchen, she loves to eat:), she always jumps up on you, she is a good sheepdog when she wants to be and she misses Sam so do i;(

Name: Milly

Owner: My auntie Jane!:)

Age: about 15 months old.

Bread: Border collie.

Facts: she is a good sheepdog, she loves to bite your feet when walking, she likes to chase dogs, rabbits, dear and she loves meg but they fight!:)

Age: 3 (i think)

Owner: My auntie Elspeth.

Bread: Black lab.

Facts: Molly loves going on walk, me and Tara never see molly very much, she is a happy and excitable dog!:)

Name: Sam.

Past away on: 12th June 2009.

Facts: Sam was my auntie Janes dog and had to get put down because he had cancer:( We all miss him very much. Rest in Peace miss you:(

Walkies!;)

Tara loves walks! Whenever you say "Walkies" she will get excited and wait at the front door and wait for you!:) On walks she will sniff about, see her doggy friends:), chase the ball, paddle in the water, chase rabbits and birds(she will NEVER harm them don't worry). Tara gets 3-4 walks each day no matter what the weather is like!

Tara's collar with tag which says:
My surname.

House Phone number.

The reason Tara's name is not on this tag is because if she ever went missing or someone stole her (which i hope never happens!) they will not know her name so they wont come back to them and phone number so if someone finds her they can phone this number and we can know she is safe. We always keep the collar on when on walks but when in the house we take it off.

Tara's lead black and white, but reflects in the dark hoop at the end for you'r hand and clip at the other end to clip onto the collar. 

Poo bags! I take these on walks as i hate it when i'm walking my dog and there is dog poo all over the place and i hate it even more when i stand in it!!! I find it disgusting picking it up:L but it's something that has too be done! If Tara poo's off a path and in a woody are where people don't really walk then i will leave it but when on a path or public place i will pick it up and put it in a bin! I get these from local shops or community centers!;)

Ball thrower this makes tennis balls go much further than if you didn't have one on these. It also saves you picking up the ball with all the doggy saliva. It's very cheap and get them most super markets in the dog sections. Also lasts for years!

Tara's Menu!

Breakfast: About 6:00/7:00am

Tara gets a handful off biscuits. I am not sure what make these are as the bag is out in the shed but i will find out what company made these tomorrow!:)   

Dinner:17:00/18:00

Tara will get a cupful of biscuits the same kind as she does in the morning and half a tin of winalot meat and then mixed together!

Dessert: 20 minutes after dinner.

Denta Stick, in our house he call it a dental stick but it's real name is Denta stick!;) Tara had them after dinner so her breath does not smell as bad! (they kinda work) and to get rid off plaque on her teeth. She finishes them in about a minute!!

Supper: round about 23:00

Tara gets these just before my mum goes to bed. She is let out into the back garden for the last time off the day to do the toilet. Then she will get a few off these before going to bed!

Dishes:

Creamy dish on the left is for water, Tara's water is always fresh and I alwayys make sure there is enough so whenever she is thirsty she can always go for a drink, We change the water 1-2 times each day! And the one on the right is for food. The blue tray stops the dishes from sliding and if any water spills it will not make the floor slippy:)

I have wrote a wee bit about me dog in the intro at the bottom off my blog but this is going to a proper blog post about my dog!!:)

We go Tara in March 2006 she was very young when we got her she was 4 or 6 weeks i cant remember too long ago! When we first got her she had a small cage in the hall. It took a long time to toilet train her and teach her to sit, stay, down and come to her name. We took her to puppy training classes till she was over one.

After puppy Training She could come to her name, sit, down, paw, stay walk on a lead with out pulling (that took longer we did use a harness for awhile!).

Tara has always been scared off a lot of things like washing rack, iron board when they were getting put up she hated the noise and would dodge them in the house also she hated stair gates as we used to have one so she could not go up the stairs (no longer there as she now sleeps up stairs) but i have no idea why she is scared off this! Loud noises: fireworks, gun shoots (would not be a good game keeping dog unlike her mother). She is very scared of bigger dogs and will lye down when one comes over to her When a puppy she got bitten by a golden retriever and the scar is still there. later on when she was 3 or 4 she got bitten in the back by a rottweiler.

She loves to chase things like balls, rabbits, birds, (she would never catch them don't worry!!) my auntie's dogs. she loves tug off war and when u chase her! When she was a puppy she used to eat socks and bring them back up a day or two later!She does not have a bed anymore as she likes to sleep on a sofa in my sisters room, sofa in my room or in my bed! She spends her days going on walks, playing with toys, sleeping on the sofa!, going out in the back garden looking for cats! and shhe likes to go outside when my brother goes out with the ferrets and just watching them! she has played with the ferrets a few times but we are always scarred she bites them or they bite her.

Some products you buy in shops like hair dye, soaps, shower gels, bath products, shampoo&conditioners are tested on animals which i think is cruel and i am totally against it! Here i will give u list of products you may have that are tested on animals before they go into you'r shopping basket. You can also check before you buy products if they are tested on animals by looking on the back of the item.
