Top 5 tips for when there are fireworks!!

It's not long till bonfire night when the fireworks will start and most dogs will be scared so here are some things you can do to make you'r dog feel safe! Hope it helps!:)

1. Make sure you have walked you'r dog before the fireworks start and he/she are safe indoors.
2.Close all doors and windows to keep noise out and shut curtains if possible to help muffle sounds and control flashes of light.
3. Try and stay with your dog try and be relaxed yourself don't fuss over your dog as he/she will think she has something to be scared off!!!!
4. Make a nice bed in a hide-away area for you'r dog to go an enclosed area like a wardrobe or a cupboard.. with lots a duvets and blankets to make it cosy.
5.Dog appeasing pheromones (DAP) you plug this into the wall and it will release calming chemicals in to the room that are not noticed by us humans but are picked up by dogs

I hope these will help you when it comes to bonfire night and new years eve! These tips will also help with cats but for tip 5 use feliway for cats!:)
